About Us

The team at Go Matilda Visas is as follows:

Alan Collett is a Chartered Accountant who is qualified in England & Wales (number 7623070), and in Australia (number 32252).

He is a well regarded migration agent (MARN 0102534) who is registered with the Australian regulator of migration professionals – the Migration Agents Registration Authority – and is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia (number 1230).

Alan is also a Registered Tax Agent in Australia, number 5359 7007.

Alan moved to Australia with his family in April, 2001, and now spends time in the UK, Australia, and South East Asia advising clients on visas and tax planning.

Alan is contactable at our office in Melbourne and by email: alan.collett@gmvisas.com.

Wendy Torjussen {wendy.torjussen@gmvisas.com} manages the administrative side of our office in the UK.

Wendy provides a vital link in the visa application process, by liaising with clients, handling incoming post from clients, scanning documentation and submitting the same to the Department of Immigration, maintaining client records on our internal client management system, and generally liaising with clients when a consultant is not available to confirm all is well with their visa application.

Our clients often receive emails directly from Wendy to confirm the safe delivery of paperwork, or have a telephone conversation with her to confirm all is well with their visa application.

Sarah Hall {sarah.hall@gmvisas.com} is a client administrator based in Australia with Alan Collett. Sarah provides support with the preparation and submission of visa applications – in particular parent visa applications – the scanning of documentation in Australia for lodgment with the relevant authorities, and liaising with clients regarding their visa applications.

Go Matilda Visas will be pleased to advise you regarding your visa options and which category will best suit your circumstances.

We can advise regarding expected visa processing times, will confirm our fees in writing for assisting with a visa application (which are fixed from the outset), will help prepare your visa application so that it is presented in the best possible way, and will give you advice and guidance throughout the visa application process so that your application is more likely to have a successful outcome.

Registered Migration Agents must act in accordance with the Migration Agents Registration Authority Code of Conduct (“the Code”) in providing Australian migration advice to clients. The Code of Conduct is available here.
